JG Engineers started its journey in 1970 with the motive of infusing new zeal and making a difference in the sphere of construction. From the outset, we sought to remove uncertainties with regard to structural safety, finances and time schedules which plague the construction sector and thereby instill confidence among our clients.
Soon we got registered with PWD CPWD and other govt org and completed a few Salt Lake housing projects with CPWD and also accomplished constructing a G+18 tower in Dhakuria. Soon we were engaged in building the Bijon Setu the modern day Rashbehari connector bridge. With MES and Housing Board years later we completed a massive housing complex at Golf Green. We also worked with NBCC in Kolkata and Haldia then we were awarded a large scale Civil contract in Libya and continued working overseas till 1984.
Thereafter Madhya Pradesh electricity Board entrusted with another mega scale civil contract and its present day value will be about 300 crores. Later, the Hyundai Dudhichua Pole Handling plant was also done by us.
We closely worked with Siemens in 1991 to 1993 and later did the 1.I.S.C.O. modernization Civil work at Burnpur. We built the Madhusadan Mancha in 1990. And built the Sanchar Minar a G +12 Post & Telecom building at Mominpur Kolkata.
Presently we are fully engaged in Group Housing projects and built 11 towers Greenfield City. Merlin Cambridge in PAS Road is also our creation. Merlin 5th Avenue at Mahisbatan is also being engineered and executed by our team.
As a leading Civil contractor, we propose to take up infrastructure products under different govts. for the prosperity of India and generation of employment. And by 2022 we want to become a 100 crore Company.
Apart from this the other group Company J G Development Pvt. Ltd. are in the business of real estate and has launched J G Golden Heights in Sonarpur. It's a massive 1.18 acre development.
